Reminders
December 6, 2006 08:20 PMby Grant RochelleReflecting back on AU and some of the things I heard there from customers just like you, I wanted to remind everyone about a couple of important things.
Vault and Productstream 5 Service Pack 1
We released this to the Autodesk web sites at the end of September but many folks I ran in to last week had not heard about it. This service pack fixes a variety of issues and is a MUST for all of you who are currently running Vault 5 or Productstream 5.
It is especially important that you install this service pack if you are using Inventor 11 Service Pack 2. Please contact your reseller or Autodesk Product Support if you're unsure which versions you should be running.
Incremental Backup and Restore
We recently released an incremental backup and restore utility for our Productstream customers through the Autodesk Subscription Center. If you are a Productstream customer you can get hold of this by logging in, downloading and installing the utility. Please make sure you check out the README first.
Quote of the week from a customer I met "Vault is the best thing Autodesk ever did, I just wish they'd done it 10 years ago".
'Nuff said.
