  • User Groups Anyone?
    September 26, 2005 10:30 PMby

This month is a busy one for User Group meetings. The Inventor team is participating in a few and that got me thinking there might be more.  Simon Bosley (he's been on the team since June) will  be in Pittsburgh at Mesa CAD's user group on Sept 28th. Pete Lord is on his way to the Netherlands for a meeting and I'll be in Sweden next week for a user group meeting in Stockholm. We love getting out and meeting users at these events- so if you know of one where we could participate don't hesitate to ask. Just send a message to inventor.blog.feedback@autodesk.com.

  • Inventor Innovation Awards
    September 15, 2005 10:02 PMby

It's time to show off your Inventor skills and win a free trip to AU. Each year we have an Inventor design contest and it's easier than ever to submit your entry - we just need a 3D DWF file and (optionally)a rendering or animation from Inventor Studio.

Entries will be judged on your use of Inventor's capabilities and integration with other Autodesk applications - such as DWF, VIZ, Vault, AIP. Three professional and one student winners will win a free trip to AU, $1,000, a copy of Inventor Professional and be recognized at a special awards reception at AU.

Visit the contest website and submit your entry by October 21! Check out the contest rules for eligibility requirements, unfortunately it's only good for US residents.

    See you at AU!  -amy

Check out the latest Inventor article at cadalyst online. Autodesk's Kevin Schneider provides an in-depth look at how to use the new 3D Grips and Feature Generator capabilities introduced in R10. These capabilities help Inventor users quickly insert and edit parametric features on any part.
