    You know what would be nice?... Having the ability to define a "User" parameter that the "Model" parameter would link to, all in one step. I personally try not to name model parameters and keep everything that's named under the "User" section. It doesn't always work out that way, but it makes changing things easier and more robust downstream. The workflow could be ... [ = *User* ParameterName = 32 in ] or even [ = ParameterName = 32 in ] with the first equals sign signifying that it's going to be linked to a user parameter named "X" that equals 32 in.
