There are many benefits for going beyond Vault into Productstream. One is quite simple to understand: The need to batch plot. Without using a 3rd party add-in, or trying to come up with a custom workflow, Productstream can handle this task for you. The best part of all is that every drawing associated to an Inventor assembly is automatically found! For example, The Productstream Batch Plot will automatically pull 50-Drawings, if they are from a 50-Part assembly. I’ve made a side-by-side comparison video between plotting Autodesk Inventor files vs. using the Batch Plot feature within Productstream. Take a look and imagine saving that much time in your plotting tasks.

Batch Plot within Productstream Is this feature on R2009 or the new R2010? (We're currently on R2008)

Yes Batch Plot is in Productstream 2008, 2009 and the new Vault Manufacturing 2010. (Productstream was named to Vault Manufacturing for the 2010 release). Check out Brian's post for that info: http://mfgcommunity.autodesk.com/blogs/blog/view/5/First_Official_Autodesk_Vault/
