Want to save file-size?

    If your drawing file space is getting larger and larger each time you work on it, then instead of Save or Save-as, use the Wblock command and select only those entity you require. This trick can save you a considerable amount of file-size. But bear in mind that it won't save the entities that are not selected, for example: frozen layers and sheet sets. It will only save the information of the entities you selected.

    Use of External Reference Files helps a lot as well.
