  • Bio:
First being introduced to AutoCAD 2.1 in 1986 via my father's construction business I soon began the fascination for CAD. This quickly transitioned into assisting my H.S.
Drafting Instructor installing and problem solving AutoCAD 9 and AutoSketch. Immediately after graduation I attended a pilot through a local Tech College primarily
focused on AutoCAD for a period of 9 months full-time. During the pilot I mastered AutoCAD 10&11 whilst leading my class assembling a 3D house complete with a fly
through animation using Autoscript. As I began College I jumped right into the job market, and ever since my first CAD job in 1992, I found myself indirectly claiming the
"go to" CAD guy at each company there after. The next page turned when I landed a job with a prominent Machine Shop and with in a week realized my career focus
was changing to Mechanical. From this new found passion for mechanical design I began working with a medical device manufacturer and took on my first major project which
eventually acquired a few US Patents. In mid 2000 I attended an Inventor R4 Demo and needless to say I was hooked ever since never looking back. From that page I then
lead my employer from implementation to an Auto Configurator pilot which reduced a once 8 hr 2D CAD task to less than 6 minutes. Realizing my career outlook I began to
develop the position of CAD Administrator and moved on to focus on my extended talents. The next few career challenges lead to starting a Consulting Design Firm earlier
this year whilst working full-time as a CAD Admin/ Mechanical Designer. Since early 2004 I began contributing to the AD discussions groups, mCADForums.com, and the Gulf
Coast Inventor User Group. I quickly found sharing my passion of CAD Administration has strengthened my career as a Mechanical Designer and therefore my drive to continue
helping others. My current goal is to continue sharing my knowledge in hopes that I excel my teaching skills for an Autodesk University class.
